“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
― Maya Angelou
What does this mean to you? Well, I can tell you what it means to me, and I think it’s the average response. We as writers are slaves to our imaginations. I know when I’m in bed ideas flood my mind as I try to sleep. A majority of the night I wake up off and on to write down some idea or plot twist for whatever I’m working on.
Basically, an actor needs to act. A composer needs to compose. A dog needs to bark, and a writer needs to write. To not do so is to violate the very nature of who you are. We owe to ourselves to follow our dreams and tell the stories we have to tell.
